Fuel Surcharge - Container Trucking

At 2M Logistics, we apply a transparent fuel surcharge that is adjusted monthly based on current diesel prices. This surcharge ensures that our rates remain fair, even with fluctuations in fuel costs.

Starting Price and Reference Price

On January 1, 2022, a diesel price of €0.92 per liter was set as a reference point. This starting price forms the basis for calculating the monthly fuel surcharge. The surcharge is calculated based on the most recent diesel prices, as published by TLN, allowing us to offer predictable and transparent prices to our customers.

The Reported Diesel Price

For November 2024, TLN reported an average diesel price of €1.58 per liter. The dieselprice directly affects the costs of our trucking services.

Calculation of the Fuel Surcharge

The calculation basis for the fuel surcharge for month III (for example, January 2025) is determined by the average diesel price for month I (for example, November 2024). With an average diesel price of €1.58 in November 2024, a fuel surcharge of 15.00% will be applied for transports in January 2025. This surcharge is recalculated every month to ensure a fair and up-to-date price structure.
